We are looking for talented, bright graduates to join us at Distribution Technology.

With clients like Friends Provident, Lloyds TSB and some major international and local banks to name a few, we have made a big impact in a short time. Our software is used by over 20,000 people both in business and at home, both here and abroad.

We are continuing our successful graduate recruitment programme. We will look at graduates who could make their mark in:

• Business process design and engineering
• Technical analysis and design
• User interface design
• Software programming and development (web and desktop)
• Software QA
• Quantitative analysis and behavioural probability
• Commercial network infrastructure
• Product design and support

We like to take graduates with an interest in two or more of these areas and give them a wider exposure to the business of producing enterprise software as well as letting them shine in their areas of interest.

Even if you are not sure what you would like to do, we will give you exposure to many different facets of the business while we explore your strengths.

We are not frightened about giving graduates responsibility and exposure. We like people who are ready to make an impact.

I was surprised at how quickly I was put into the heart of the company, meeting clients at international companies, given responsibility to design products to be used by thousands of people every day and consulted on product design. Every week is different and the team is great to work with. It is hard work but it is very rewarding – none of my friends are doing anything remotely like this. The company is really going places and I am learning not just about software design, but also about business itself.

I have been moved around most areas of operation: infrastructure, product design, support and I am now working in configuration management. Along the way I have helped re-write the company’s security and BCP policies as well as being the lead designer on a new software product. You get really stretched – you are expected to think hard about what you are doing and to get results. All the time I am finding out new things I am good at and I get to work with some exceptionally bright people. I am really looking forward to seeing what challenges the next year will bring.
