Summary:

To support our rapid growth we now have an opportunity for a Training Manager to join our expanding team.

The role:

  • To lead the design, development and maintenance of DT’s suite of user training material
  • To create / adapt engaging training courses based upon DT’s software implementations for specific clients
  • To deliver training courses on a face-to-face basis
  • To act as the first internal point of contact for training requests from clients
  • To work with other members of the Financial Planning team on more advanced content for training materials where appropriate
  • To co-ordinate training activities when required, with respect to the training of selected intermediaries
  • To support the Director of Financial Planning in promoting training services internally and externally
  • To contribute to the DT suite of pre-recorded training materials
  • To maintain sufficient knowledge of DTs software and the financial services environment to perform the role effectively
  • All bespoke training design and delivery to be within agreed client timescales
  • Standard suite of training materials updated and maintained to agreed standard and timescales
  • Positive feedback from training courses to agreed standard
  • All requests for training responded to within agreed timescales
  • Feedback from internal stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to train effectively
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships to maximise training opportunities
  • Self-starter with the ability to plan and organise own time.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with strong MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint
  • Group Facilitation
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work successfully both in teams and individually
  • Positive and committed outlook with excellent persuasion skills
  • Interest in software and technology is preferred
  • Some travel within the UK will be required
  • FPC / CFP essential
  • Full Driving Licence

Basic salary of £40,000 pa
