You will provide System Test, Regression Test and UAT support expertise to Delivery and Release projects. Working within a small team of Test Analysts and Senior Test Analysts on each project.
Working with the rest of the Delivery Team to ensure that the project is delivered on time on budget, and to the required quality levels.
You will undertake Release Acceptance Test and Regression Test execution for each incremental Release on the Delivery Roadmap.
You will accurately record defects and ensure that these are rectified within project delivery timeframes.
You will work with the fellow Senior Test Analysts to ensure accurate reporting is completed within agreed timeframes to the Test Manager.
Knowledge of Test Automation framework development and implementation using HP Quick Test Pro or FITnesse methodologies is highly desirable as is experience of Performance Testing using Borland SilkPerformer.
• FPC qualification or equivalent (Highly desirable)
• Methodical test execution
• Minimum of 1 years financial services experience within a technology/ testing environment [understanding of investment and pensions products].
• Experience of testing web-based systems, including to XML integration specifications.
• Experience of using defect tracking/test script writing and execution tools, ideally HP Quality Center.
• Experience of implementing a Test Automation framework using either HP QTP or FITnesse (highly desirable)
• Experience of Performance test execution and planning using Borland SilkPerformer.
• Excellent documentation skills, attention to detail and an ability to communicate detailed technical issues to vendors and to the internal business/ project team.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritise, and manage their time.
• Good communicator, Lateral thinker with attention to detail.
