15 July 2010 – Distribution Technology, the UK’s leading provider of financial planning and sales software (renowned for the Dynamic Planner® risk profiling categories, used by over 30,000 advisers), has appointed Mark Hayes Newington as Product and Propositions Director. Mark joins the Executive team in this new role and will be responsible for developing the company’s products and propositions to support insurers and large advisory businesses, both pre- and post-RDR.
Mark joins from Taxbriefs (a leading supplier of learning and marketing solutions for IFAs and Accountants), where he was CEO. Prior to this, he was a founder member of Defaqto (the UK’s leading financial product research company), where he was responsible for developing the Aequos and Engage products, as well as the launch of the five star ratings, now seen in many consumer adverts.
