Distribution Technology Limited, the UK’s leading provider of planning and sales technology, today announces the opening of an office in Hong Kong, headed by Patrick Fitzgerald, co-founder and regional director for Asia.
The new office marks the next phase of Distribution Technology’s international growth and follows the work earlier this year to provide Friends Provident International in Hong Kong with a bespoke version of their market leading portfolio planning tool, Investment Planner.

Distribution Technology launched a version of Investment Planner for Friends Provident International (FPI) in Hong Kong which has already proved successful, supporting their growth in this region. Called Dynamic Portfolio Planner International (DPPi) the tool provides FPI with a wide ranging risk assessment and investment strategy planning capability, combined with features specific to offshore markets – including modelling for global asset classes; asset allocation strategies for different global investment perspectives. As with Investment Planner, DPPi provides all portfolio planning and forecasting in a choice of currencies and number of different languages.
