Distribution Technology (DT), the UK’s leading provider of financial advice software, moves to a new HQ after tripling its staff numbers in 2006.
With 14,000 advisers now benefiting from its platform, Distribution Technology moves to its new premises at Sovereign House in mid-February. The offices have been designed to provide a stimulating and dynamic working atmosphere, with an innovative adviser consultation centre at its heart.
The ‘Planning and Sales Lab’, which customers will be able to visit to experience DT’s new software and solutions, is at the core of the company’s new headquarters in Reading. The Lab will also allow advisers to test software during its development and explore new distribution concepts such as how multi-channel advised sales can work.

Having the Lab means we can explore the usability of our solutions with advisers in a realistic setting. It will also help us refine our understanding of key issues such as how to ensure that technology doesn’t intrude on the adviser – customer relationship, but instead enhances it.
